The biggest week of the year for equestrian entertainment is back. The 72nd edition of horse of the year show has something for every member of the family to enjoy.Horse Of the Year Show 5th – 9th October 2022 NEC Birmingham.

The 2022 edition of Horse of the Year Show has something for every member of the family to enjoy. Fine dining, shopping and a wide variety of equestrian entertainment all under one roof. There’s only ONEHOYS, and it’s not one to miss!

Visitors will experience thrilling competition, breath-taking displays, unbeatable retail therapy and spectacular horsemanship across five days of non-stop action. Don’t miss the Explorer Lounge restaurant/bar on the Westside area of the arena. International Showjumping kicks-off on Friday 7th October, where we will be treated to three exhilarating international classes throughout the day. With a gold ticket you wont have to miss any of the action on this day!

On Saturday 8th October, we start the daytime performance with The Accumulator before welcoming into the Andrews Bowen International Arena in the evening the Ripon Select Foods Puissance!

Rounding off the week in style, we introduce the Thistledown Investments Six-Bar, making its HOYS class debut in 2022! Ending the evening with the largest showjumping class of the show, the JCB Leading Showjumper of the Year – Grand Prix.

Gemma Owen, a gifted equestrian athlete, influencer fashion model and entrepreneur will be joining the Holland Cooper family, as a leading ambassador for the HC equestrian collection. The 19 year old, who shot to fame when she appeared on the hit ITV Series Love Island, has been a long-standing fan of the brand and a perfect fit for this collection. A talented young rider, Gemma competes at elite level Dressage where style, elegance, performance and attention to detail are the recipe for success. The very essence of Holland Cooper clothing.

Holland Cooper has a tradition of supporting equestrian athletes. Olympic Gold medalist and Badminton winner Laura Collett is an ambassador of the brand, in addition to a number of emerging equestrian talent, across all Olympic disciplines- Dressage, Jumping and Eventing.

Gemma has been riding from the age of three and developed an interest in dressage at just eight years old. She represented Wales for successive years and by the age of eleven, she was selected to ride for Great Britain U16’s. In 2019 Gemma moved up to U18 level and represented Great Britain at five high profile International competitions with her horse, Sirius Black. 2020 delivered their best International performance at Keysoe CDI, where the pair won the Individual Test and finished second in the Team Test. She has competed extensively on the international circuit and was shortlisted to represent Team GB at the Youth European Championships, which she competed in during 2021 as part of the Young Riders team.
